Nicole Richie Is JLo For Halloween!
Holy cow, she looks just like her!
Nicole Richie went back to the days of 'Jenny from the Block' and dressed up as Jennifer Lopez for Kate Hudson's costume Party on Saturday night in Los Angeles.
Richie didn't even have to try hard either considering they have the same color hair & nose...haha. To complete the look Richie sported a pink tracksuit, huge hoop earrings and big aviator sunglasses, with her hair pulled back tight. Um...and is it just me or does it look like she had some "work" done to her girl? They're looking a bit on the large side.
Watch out JLo, maybe we'll start putting her in movies. If she can stand there & breathe she's already a better actress* than you are.

Lindsay Lohan Tweets Photo Of Her New White Teeth
Brown, stained, rotten looking teeth be gone!
Lindsay Lohan recently tweeted a photo of her new white chompers with a message:
Thanks Dr. Dorfman for the zoom... My gums are so sore though! The actress recently underwent a ton of criticism after being photographed with a not so nice looking smile. Actually, it resembled the smile of a chain smoking crack head...
Lohan has recently signed a contract with Playboy magazine to do a fully nude spread so maybe this new smile has something to do with it.

Kim Kardashian Filing For Divorce After 72 Days Of Marriage
And no one's surprised.
Reality TV star and socialite Kim Kardashian is rumored to be filing for divorce from husband Kris Humphries this morning. The couple has only been married a whopping 72 days.
According to TMZ, Kim will not be seeking annulment and is a garden variety divorce, in which she cites "irreconcilable differences" and the date of separation is listed as October 31, 2011.
Kim has hired disso-queen Laura Wasser, who has repped the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, and Robyn Gibson, Mel's almost ex-wife.Kim & Kris married on August 20 in a very large & televised wedding affair in Mentecito, CA. The two did sign a prenuptial agreement.
Like I said before, no one's really surprised about this news...I know I'm not. I didn't think they made a good couple and I don't ever see this girl settling down either.

A Happy Halloween Give Away!
Today is my youngest grandson's first Halloween! He and his older brother are dressing up as Super Heroes, along with their Mommy and Daddy. I always enjoy seeing entire families dressed up in costumes as they accompany their children from house to house for Halloween "trick or treat" .... sometimes even the family dog is in costume! The snowstorm that hit the North East this weekend had very little effect on where I live in Brooklyn, so I'm expecting a busy afternoon giving out Halloween treats, and I'm also excited to offer a special MY MEMORIES FREE DIGITAL SCRAPBOOK give away treat to all of my readers today!
I was able to make this darling photo scrapbook page of my grandson's recent visit to their local pumpkin patch using the My Memories digital scrapbook software. My Memories Suite is the #1 rated scrapbook software and the best seller at Amazon for a reason. It is affordable and easy to use. When the folks at My Memories offered to let me try out their software I was so excited! As you can imagine, I have so many digital photos of my grandsons, yet I have not been good as I had hoped at keeping up with having them printed out to make a scrapbooks with them. Now I can easily make digital scrapbook pages, and have them printed out up to 12x12 size at home, or send them out for professional printing. It's a nice way to use multiple photos on one page as well as journal a story about the photos. The software was easy to install and use. The page above was my first attempt!
I will use the Random Number Generator to chose the winner on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, and I will announce the winner on my blog. Please make sure I also have a way to contact you in your comments, in case you are the winner.
If you'd like to purchase the My Memories digital scrapbook software today, you can do so by clicking here. As an added bonus, if you enter this code STMMMS34516 you will be provided with a special $10.00 discount off the purchase of the My Memories Suite Scrapbook software and a $10.00 coupon for the MyMemories.com store - $20.00 value!
You can finally begin to organize your children's or grand children's photos, your vacation photos, or your recipes, along with photos of your food creations from your blog. Just think of the wonderful bound photo books you can make just in time to give as gifts for the holidays!
Happy Halloween and good luck!

Hotel del Coranado
This was my second visit to the beautiful Hotel Del Coranado located on Coranado Island located in San Diego's Bay. Built in 1888, this classic beach front hotel has long been heralded as one of America’s most beautiful beach resorts. Nicknamed "The Del," it was designated a historic landmark in 1977.
According to the hotel's website:
"The Del's visionary founders - Elisha Babcock and H.L. Story - dreamed of building a seaside resort that would be "the talk of the Western world." Since then, the resort has become a living legend, visited by celebrities, dignitaries and U.S. presidents. In fact, publisher Rand McNally recognized the Hotel del Coronado for enjoying more "fame and historical significance than perhaps any hotel in North America.'
Eleven U.S. Presidents have visited The Del, starting with Benjamin Harrison in 1891. One of the resort's most famous visitors was England's Prince of Wales in 1920. He would later become King Edward VIII, only to give up his throne in 1936 to marry Coronado divorcee Wallis Spencer Simpson. Many have speculated that they may have first met at The Del.
The Del has played host to some of America's greats, including Thomas Edison, L. Frank Baum and Babe Ruth. Famed aviator Charles Lindbergh was honored at The Del in 1927 after his successful trans-Atlantic flight. At this lavish banquet, a replica of Lindbergh's "Spirit of St. Louis" circled the enormous Crown Room ceiling.
Hollywood has been making movies at The Del since 1901. In 1958, The Del was the backdrop for the comedy classic "Some Like It Hot," starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. The resort has also seen a steady stream of celebrity visitors - from Charlie Chaplin and Humphrey Bogart to Brad Pitt and Madonna."
I enjoyed looking at the elegant lobby and reception area....
...and the equally wonderful array of gift shops located in The Del!
The grounds were immaculate and quiet except....
...for an occasional Navy jet practicing maneuvers overhead!
The Del faces the Pacific Ocean with the large white sand Coronado Central Beach in between. From the beach you can see how enormous and beautiful the entire hotel is!
I walked along the beach for quite some time as the cool breeze off the water was delightful. Point Loma, San Diego, can be seen in the distance.
The water was quite chilly!
Pumpkins, San Diego style, made out of beach sand!
Happy Halloween!
Be sure to come back for my Monday blog post to see an exciting give away!
